IBRI appoints presidents of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board

At a meeting of the new Board of Directors of IBRI (Brazilian Investor Relations Institute) the president and the two vice presidents of the Board as well as the president of the Executive Board were appointed. Luiz Fernando Rolla will hold the position of president of the Board of Directors for the next two years with Geraldo Soares and Doris Wilhelm as vice presidents. Luiz Fernando Rolla is CFO and Investor Relations Officer and Control Officer for CEMIG (Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais) Holdings. Geraldo Soares is Head of Investor Relations of Itaú Unibanco. Doris Wilhelm is Investor Relations Officer at Paranapanema S.A.Executive Presidency - Ricardo Florence has been appointed as president of the Executive Board. Ricardo Florence is Planning Director and Investor Relations Officer for the Marfrig Group. IBRI’s new Board of Directors is made up of Bruno Seno Fusaro (Usiminas); Doris Wilhelm (Paranapanema); Elizabeth Benamor (Souza Cruz); Geraldo Soares (Itaú Unibanco); Julia Reid Ferretti (Banco Fibra); Líbano Miranda Barroso (TAM); Luciana Ferreira (Braskem); Luiz Fernando Rolla (CEMIG) and Marco Geovanne (Banco do Brasil). The new Board was recently elected (December 3 2009) following approval of IBRI’s new Bylaws that give all members the same voting rights and which also reformulated the organization’s corporate governance.
